What will our students experience throughout their Expressive Arts curriculum at Fountains?
We aim to foster an inspiring and enjoyable learning experience for all students. We strive to create an environment where pupils feel secure to express themselves and communicate meaningfully with others. We aim to inspire our students, growing their cultural capital through a diverse and creative curriculum, including:
- Developing creativity: Students can discover and develop their creativity through drama, images, videos, songs, performances, and exhibitions.
- Learning skills: Students can develop skills in art, music, drama, film and media.
- Expressing feelings: Students can learn to recognise and represent their own feelings and emotions, as well as those of others.
- Enjoying performing: Students can enjoy the excitement of performing and presenting for different audiences.
- Developing critical thinking: Students can develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through the creative process.
- Building confidence: Students can develop confidence and learn to work independently.
- Learning about other artists: Students can learn about artists and designers from different cultures and periods of time.
