Labour Market Information
What is Labour Market Information (LMI)?
Labour Market Information (LMI) is information about jobs, careers, skills and employment trends. It helps young people and their families understand:
- What jobs are available now and may be available in the future
- Which industries are growing
- What skills and qualifications employers are looking for
- Different routes into employment, including college, apprenticeships, supported internships and training
- Typical salaries and career progression opportunities
At Fountains High School, labour market information is shared with students as part of our careers programme, where students learn about careers in the local area.
