Experiences of Workplaces
This school year we have had 28 students who have experienced a work placement and we have made good links with some new and forward-thinking businesses. We have observed many of our Post 16 Fountains students demonstrating employability skills and aspirations for their future. Our vision of matching the students' interests and capability to the placement has provided us with successful outcomes.
Individual Success Stories
Connor- Burton Albion Community Trust
'Connor is doing absolutely incredible. He works so hard and is a real asset to the team at Burton Albion Community Trust. He is delivering sessions across our disability and older adult sessions and is really thriving, he is also fantastic around the office and always willing to help out on events and
things that are going on, especially being Billy Brewer!'

Harry- Shobnall Leisure Complex
'It has been great to see Harry grow in confidence during his work placement at Shobnall Leisure Complex. Harry is able to complete daily tasks independently and is always happy to help with any of the activities. Harry enjoys assisting the Sports Leaders when they go out coaching at lunchtime and after-school clubs. He gets to put the skills he learnt from his Level 2 Qualification in Community Sports Leadership to full use. It is a pleasure to have Harry on placement and working as a Casual Sports Leader'.
